This commercial features some snowboarder and her coach.  For some reason she's afraid to go down the mountain.  This could be because she's terrified of snowboarding, but a fear of snowboarding is a good reason to cross "Professional Snowboarder" off her list of potential careers (it's listed in between "Actress/Waitress" and "Fairy Princess").  Maybe her entire family was killed in a freak snowboarding accident and competing in this race is the only way she'll be able to let go of their memory.  No, it's more likely she knows that halfway through the race she'll get all emotional and start crying for some reason.  Regardless, her coach, in an attempt at getting her over the fear of going down the mountain, tells her all sorts of pointless motivational crap that he pulled from posters in a guidance counselor's office.  Things like, "Pretend you're the only one on the mountain," and, "Pretend you don't suck."  None of those work, and she is still crying like a 5-year-old catching his mother banging the clown at his birthday party.  Then the coach says, "Pretend your VISA Check Card got stolen." She smiles and realizes that's her perfect motivation.  Why?  Does she get the irresistible urge to snowboard every time she leaves her check card at the bar while she's in the bathroom giving head for coke?  Does she live in a fantasy world where snowboarding is the key to making criminals return stolen goods?  Did someone snatch her card and then ski down the mountain?  It sounds like they edited out a crucial line from the script that would make the entire commercial make sense.  As in, "Pretend your VISA Check Card got stolen.  AND THERE GOES THE CROOK!  GO GET HIM!"  It wouldn't take too much more time to spit that out.  Fucking weak.
